Of course, all AudioQuest 48G HDMI cables can transfer up to professional 10K Ultra HD video, support Dynamic HDR, and have the conductors and bandwidth required for eARC’s enhanced sonic capabilities. Taking performance even further, in AudioQuest HDMI cables, the ARC-channel conductor pair is internally controlled for direction, running in the opposite direction from the four pairs that carry information to the TV, to ensure superior audio performance.

10% Silver Conductors and Drains
AudioQuest ThunderBird 48 HDMI cables use 10% Silver conductors to defeat both electrical and magnetic strand-to-strand interaction. ThunderBird 48’s 10% Silver drains further improve noise dissipation.
Noise-Dissipation (Level 5)
In AudioQuest ThunderBird 48 HDMI cables, a high-loss layer of carbon surrounds all the direction-controlled conductors; high-loss graphene is added to the carbon layer sandwiched between layers of metal around the 4 FRL + eARC pairs to further enhance noise-dissipation.
eARC
The Audio Return Channel sends audio from the TV to a soundbar, receiver, or ARC input. “enhanced” eARC is easier to use and enables lossless multi-channel. In AudioQuest ThunderBird 48 HDMI, the eARC conductor pair is internally controlled for direction to ensure superior audio performance.
Direction-Controlled Conductors
AudioQuest ThunderBird 48 HDMI cables use Direction-Controlled conductors to minimize RF noise. For optimal Noise-Dissipation and superior audio performance, use ThunderBird 48 HDMI cables with the plug’s arrows pointing towards the TV, or Source towards A/V receiver.
