The head rotates 360° with four detent intervals of 8, 12, 15, and 18° to choose from. The clamp allows you to mount the rest of the kit, which is the horizontal and vertical rail with swinging horizontal arm and camera mount. The vertical rail can rotate 180°, for Nadir photography, and the rotating horizontal arm has four detent intervals of 5, 15, 30, and 45° of incremental swing. Both the horizontal rail and swing arm are adjustable to find the Nodal point on each axis, and the 10.5″ tall head has a load capacity of 17.6 lb.
